I’ve been doing a lot of these lately, but not for myself, mainly for uni assignments, site analysis and what not…you know the deal in design…
So I was at Roma St Parklands this arvo on a photoshoot assignment, taking pictures for a table cloth design for an interior designer client, and I came up to this platform 20ft in above the ground and the view was stunning, I just couldn’t resist doing a panorama of the surrounding apartments and the lake at the park.

Again trying out some astro photography. I was actually wanting to drain the battery of the camera but couldn’t because the clouds came rolling in half way through. But back to the photo, I was indifferent towards the last try, yes I did capture the milky way galaxy with some level of detail but the colours I thought were cringe worthy, it was kinda fake looking, too blue/purple. So this time I tried for something more realistic

I did it! I named a photo after a band! Whoo! Finally! This photo was meant to be chucked into the scrap heap, because of the blown out area in the sky which was suppose to be the sun. It didn’t look pleasing after the HDR processing, so I tried messing with the white balance, tried going for that lomo/grunge look which would be more tolerable of the blown out sun.
